Explore clay and other 3-D media while getting fired up about sculpture! Kiddos will follow the clay process from creating their own bowls, platters, mugs and more through to a range of glazing techniques and delight in seeing their work emerge from the kiln! We'll spend much of the week in the “mud”, working with clay through functional to sculptural forms, while gaining a strong command for clay techniques! Most of the time will be spent in the studios, with outside lunchtime and a visiting artist or trip to punctuate the learning. Some work will go home at the end of the week, while a work pick-up date will be set for the remaining work, 3 weeks after camp.
