All Materials Included! This exciting class inspires making and self expression through three dimensional work! Learn the fundamentals for working with clay while creating a range of projects both functional and sculptural, as you like, from plates to platters to planters! Each week includes a demonstration of a new handbuilding technique, and later, surface decoration processes, so that you develop a foundation of skills for working with clay both in form construction and surface design. A brief introduction to wheel throwing will also be included!
All Materials Included! This thoughtful and comprehensive painting class is intentionally designed for beginners and nonartists and will guide you through the painting foundations. Explore value, composition, methods and materials. Explore color theory and color mixing, in depth. Work through a series of still life challenges that build from simple forms to more complex. Hone your visual skills and gain sensitivity for observation while developing your personal style.

If you’ve taken one of our foundational drawing or painting classes and want to dive deeper into representational compositions, then this class is for you! Each week will bring a demo of evolving concepts and techniques to continue broadening your creative frame of reference while you harness what resonates for you.Taught by experienced and practiced artists, this class provides the space, materials and community for you to move your vision forward along with instructional support you need! Each week will bring a demo of evolving concepts and techniques to continue broadening your creative framework while you harness that which resonates with you. Focused primarily on handbuilding and taught by experienced ceramicists, this class provides the space, materials and community for you to move your vision forward along with instructional support! All Materials Included! Designed for beginners and nonartists, this no fear and totally fun drawing class will introduce you to, and encourage development in, art making fundamentals. Explore a comprehensive introduction to drawing including practice with line, composition, perspective and tone. From realistic to abstract drawing approaches, survey a range of styles, techniques, media and skills. Experience a variety of wet and dry drawing media, as well, including pencil, charcoal, pastel, ink and watercolor.
All Materials Included! This exciting new class that explores the intersections of craft and fine art through fibers arts and mixed media is sure to inspire your playful artmaking practice! All things 2-D and fibers connected, this inventive studio experience will explore dying, fabric painting and printing, basic hand-stitching and ways to incorporate all of these techniques into drawings and paintings. We’ll survey a wide-range of techniques, processes and materials while new ideas emerge through exploration!
All Materials Included! This immersive and experimental class, will get your creative juices flowing while surveying a range of media and 2-D approaches. Begin with inspiration from a range of creative drawing explorations then dive into diverse printing techniques from painterly printed monotypes to pattern making through stamp creation to lino carved compositions. Explore color fields with endless possibilities for color interaction with printing inks and delve into basic screen-printing techniques. If you love to play as part of your creative process this class is for you!
